NAME

yg - set gap between y axis and label

SYNOPSIS

yg [0|#]

DESCRIPTION

The y-gap is the space between the y-axis and its label. Normally it is set so the label is just to the left of the tick numbers.  By turning on the y-gap mode, you can specify the number of character spaces to leave between the y-axis and the label. Use the y-gap feature to line up all the y-axis labels when you put a vertical grouping of plots on a single page.

Without parameters, yg toggles the y-gap mode. If toggled on, you are prompted to indicate the number of character spaces to leave between the axis and the label. Entering 0 as an argument unconditionally turns the y-gap mode off.  Entering a number as an argument turns on y-gap and sets the gap to that number of character widths.
