NAME p# - select pen
SYNOPSIS p#
DESCRIPTION Use this command to select other than
the default pen on pen plotters that have more than one pen.
For the # sign, enter an integer greater than or
equal to zero and less than 1,000. Refer to your pen-plotter
manual to see how many pens are available. (Higher pen numbers
are ignored by the p# command, although they are
used with the z# command to control features such as
line widths on graphics filters.)
When selecting one or more pens as part of a string of
plotting commands, insert the pen numbers in the string rather
than including them as arguments. For instance,
p2alt1p uses pen 2 to draw the axes, labels and
title and pen 1 to draw the points.
